Firmware 1.92 does what?
Tried to log the PS3 on this mornign to discover there was a new firmware but what does this firmware do?
That's a good question as it doesn't seem to have changed anything obvious on the PS3 system. I'm going to have a try with a few old games to see if it's a Backwards compatability update. As there's nothing on any websites about it yet, I'll let you know.

Store updates
The US Store has had the best updates over recent months. Mainly due to having tonnes of wallpapers, movie & game trailers. The best thing apart from the Heavenly Sword ainme backstory, has been the demos. GRAW2 was rather nice but I'm not that good at squad games, Heavenly Sword was far too short. DiRT, truely wonderful, Folklore Meh.
There are demos that simply don't work on a UK machine for some reason.
The most major bit of interst to me was that Super Street Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD is on the US Store for $10, with a free demo, Which is quite nice.
The Better news is that the US have the Tekken Update allowing online play. It sadly looks like you have to pay extra for the online buddle. And no word on when it's available in the UK.

PSP Firmware update 3.70
New firmware has recently become available via network.
It's rather special finally adding multi-tasking (music & pictures), new functions for remote-play. The best bit has to be the custom Themes.
